Question: Is Allen Iverson a Hall of Famer? Answer: "HELL YEAH" he is

Allen Iverson was a 14 year veteran in the NBA. He had a career average of 26.7 points per game. The Philadelphia 76ERS took a chance by drafting the 6ft 165lb Iverson to be the savior of the franchise. The last great star in Philly before Iverson was Charles Barkley. Barkley was traded to Phoenix in 1993, and Philly endured multiple seasons of losing with no superstar in sight. Iverson brought instant excitement to the NBA when he entered the league. At that time the league had never seen a player as quick and explosive since Isiah Thomas. Iverson was the quickest man on the basketball court. He would introduce the NBA to a new version of the cross-over. Iverson's cross-over was un-guardable during those early years. Who could forget the day Iverson put the great Michael Jordan on skates. Iverson accomplished some of the highest goals in the NBA such as League MVP- 01, All-Star Game MVP- 01, 4 Scoring Titles and 11 All-Star appearances. The only accomplishment he could not achieve was winning an NBA Championship. His undermaned Sixers would lose to the L.A. Lakers in 5 games in the 2001 series. Allen Iverson will go down as one of the most prolific scorers in NBA history. Remember, Iverson is only 6ft 165 and had no problems taking the ball to the basket at will. In my opinion, he will always be remembered as the toughest little man to ever play the game. Hall-of-Famer- NO QUESTION???????????????

MLB -The race for the Wildcard

The wildcard race is starting to heat up in both the American and National League. In the American League there are 5 teams separated by a mere four games. The Oakland A's and Baltimore Orioles occupy the top 2 wildcard slots. The National League wildcard race is even closer with 4 teams being separated by 1.5 games. The Atlanta Braves and the St.Louis Cardinals hold the top 2 wildcard slots with the Pittsburgh Pirates and Los Angeles Dodgers nipping at their heels.Over the years the Cardinals have shown once they obtain a playoff berth, anything can happen.They proved it last year by tying and surpassing the Braves to win the wildcard. Ultimately, the Cardinals took that momentum and cruised to a World Series title.The format of the wildcard calls for the top 2 teams to play a 1 game playoff to decide who plays a division winner in the playoffs. I like this format because it puts the 2 teams in a do or die situation where the winner takes all. I believe this will be an exciting addition to Major League Baseball.

The anticipation of the upcoming NFL season

The days of Major League Baseball being America's past time are officially over. The National Football League is now "King." In my opinion, this will be the most anticipated season in the history of the league. Just look at all the story lines going into the season. How will Andrew Luck and RGIII fare in their rookie seasons? Will the New York Giants repeat? Will TebowMania take over New York City? And of course, let's not forget about The Great Peyton Manning and the effect he will have leading the Denver Bronchos. The regular season will begin with history being made. There will be 5 rookie quarterbacks starting on opening day. Andrew Luck, Robert Griffin III, Ryan Tannehill, Brandon Weedon, and Russell Wilson who was the biggest long shot to receive a starting position. As a big fan of the NFL, I have to say that Football has surpassed basketball as my favorite sporting event. I never thought I would make this statement because Basketball has been the number 1 sport throughout my life. I enjoy watching and attending NFL games more than NBA games. My feelings were the complete opposite about 5 years ago. The upcoming NFL season will be very intriguing. How will all the story lines play out by season's end? Who will Win Superbowl 47? You tell me?
